Ingredients

  • 🌾 Chickpea flour – 2 cups
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, chopped
  • 🌶️ Green chilies – 2, finely chopped
  • 🌿 Cilantro – 1/4 cup, chopped
  • 💧 Water – as needed
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste
  • 🫘 Chickpeas - 1 cup, boiled and mashed

Instructions

  • 🥣 In a bowl, mix chickpea flour, mashed chickpeas, onion, green chilies, cilantro, salt, and water to form a smooth batter.
  • ⏳ Let the batter rest for 15 minutes.
  • 🔥 Heat a flat pan or griddle over medium heat.
  • 🥄 Pour a ladleful of batter onto the hot pan and spread it into a circular shape.
  • 🍳 Cook until golden brown on both sides, flipping as needed. Add oil if desired.
