Ingredients
- 🐔 Chicken broth – 6 cups
- 🍗 Cooked chicken – shredded, 1 cup
- 🧈 Butter – 4 tbsp
- 🌾 Flour – 4 tbsp
- 🥛 Milk or cream – 1 cup
- 🧅 Onion – 1/2 cup, chopped
- 🥕 Carrot – 1/2 cup, diced
- 🌿 Celery – 1/2 cup, diced
- 🧂 Salt & pepper – to taste
Instructions
- 🔥 Melt butter in a pot, whisk in flour to make a roux. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
- 🥣 Gradually whisk in chicken broth until smooth. Bring to a simmer.
- 🥕 Add onion, carrot, and celery. Cook until vegetables are tender, about 10 minutes.
- 🐔 Stir in shredded chicken and milk or cream. Heat through.
- 🧂 Season with salt and pepper. Serve hot and enjoy! ✨
