Ingredients
- 🍗 Chicken pieces – 500g
- 🍚 Rice – 2 cups
- 🫘 Lentils (dal) – 1 cup
- 🧅 Onions – 2 medium, chopped
- 🍅 Tomatoes – 2 medium, chopped
- 🧄 Ginger-garlic paste – 2 tbsp
- 🌶️ Spices (turmeric, chili powder, coriander powder, garam masala) – to taste
- 🌿 Fresh coriander – for garnish
- 🥛 Yogurt – 1 cup
- 🫓 Roti or naan – 4
Instructions
- 🍗 Marinate chicken with yogurt and spices, then cook until tender.
- 🍚 Cook rice separately.
- 🫘 Prepare dal (lentils) in a pressure cooker or pot.
- 🧅 Make a vegetable dish (sabzi) with onions, tomatoes, and spices.
- 🫓 Serve chicken, rice, dal, sabzi, roti/naan, and condiments in a thali.
