Ingredients
- 🐔 Chicken – 1 lb, cut into pieces
- 🧅 Onions – 2 medium, chopped
- 🥥 Coconut – grated
- 🌶️ Green chilies – 2-3, slit
- 🌿 Curry leaves – a sprig
- 🧄 Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- 🥄 Turmeric powder – 1 tsp
- 🥄 Red chili powder – 1 tsp
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- 🛢️ Coconut oil – 2 tbsp
Instructions
- 🔥 Heat coconut oil in a pan and add curry leaves and green chilies.
- 🧅 Sauté onions until golden brown, then add ginger-garlic paste.
- 🐔 Add chicken pieces, turmeric powder, and red chili powder. Cook until browned.
- 🥥 Add grated coconut and salt. Simmer until chicken is cooked through and the mixture is dry.
- ✨ Garnish with fresh coriander leaves (optional) and serve hot with rice or roti.
