Ingredients

  • 🍗 Chicken thighs – 4 boneless, skinless
  • 🥚 Eggs – 2 large
  • 🌾 Flour – for dredging
  • 🥔 Potato starch – for coating
  • 🍋 Lemon – 1, juiced
  • 🧅 Onion – 1/2 finely chopped
  • 🍶 Soy sauce – 1/4 cup
  • 🍚 Rice vinegar – 2 tbsp
  • 砂糖 Sugar – 2 tbsp
  • 🌿 Parsley – chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  • 🔪 Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces and marinate in soy sauce and ginger.
  • 🥚 Prepare a sweet and sour sauce with soy sauce, rice vinegar, sugar, and onion.
  • 🍗 Coat chicken in flour and potato starch, then fry until golden brown.
  • ♨️ Dip fried chicken in nanban sauce.
  • 🍳 Top with tartar sauce (made with boiled eggs, mayonnaise, and onion) and garnish with parsley. Serve hot!
