Ingredients

  • 🥩 Beef chuck roast – 3 lbs
  • 🥖 Italian rolls – 6
  • 🌶️ Giardiniera – to taste
  • 🧅 Onion – 1, sliced
  • 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
  • 🌿 Italian seasoning – 2 tbsp
  • 💧 Beef broth – 6 cups

Instructions

  • 🔥 Sear beef roast on all sides in a pot or Dutch oven.
  • 🧅 Add onions and garlic to the pot and cook until softened.
  • 🌿 Stir in Italian seasoning and beef broth.
  • 🥘 Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook in the oven (or on the stovetop) for 3 hours, or until beef is very tender.
  • 🔪 Shred beef and return it to the broth. Serve on Italian rolls with giardiniera.
