Chicago Italian Beef Sandwich

Ingredients
- 🥩 Beef chuck roast – 3 lbs
- 🥖 Italian rolls – 6
- 🌶️ Giardiniera – to taste
- 🧅 Onion – 1, sliced
- 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
- 🌿 Italian seasoning – 2 tbsp
- 💧 Beef broth – 6 cups
Instructions
- 🔥 Sear beef roast on all sides in a pot or Dutch oven.
- 🧅 Add onions and garlic to the pot and cook until softened.
- 🌿 Stir in Italian seasoning and beef broth.
- 🥘 Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook in the oven (or on the stovetop) for 3 hours, or until beef is very tender.
- 🔪 Shred beef and return it to the broth. Serve on Italian rolls with giardiniera.
