Ingredients

  • 🥩 Pork Shoulder – 2 lbs
  • 🍯 Honey – 2 tbsp
  • 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
  • 🍶 Soy Sauce – 2 tbsp
  • 🌶️ Chinese Five Spice – 1 tsp
  • 🍷 Hoisin Sauce – 2 tbsp
  • 🍚 Maltose or Sugar – 1 tbsp

Instructions

  • 🔪 Cut pork into long strips and marinate with all ingredients for at least 2 hours.
  • 🌡️ Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • 🥓 Place marinated pork on a wire rack over a baking sheet.
  • ♨️ Bake for 25 minutes, then brush with more honey and bake for another 5 minutes or until caramelized.
  • 🔪 Slice thinly and serve hot with rice or noodles. Garnish with sesame seeds if desired.
