Ingredients

  • 🧄 Ginger-Garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  • 🧅 Onion – finely chopped
  • 🌿 Green chilies – 2, finely chopped
  • 🫘 Chickpeas (chana) – 1 cup, soaked and boiled
  • 🍞 Bread crumbs – for binding
  • 🍋 Lemon juice – 1 tsp
  • 🌱 Coriander leaves – for garnish
  • 🧂 Spices (garam masala, chili powder, cumin powder) – to taste

Instructions

  • 🫘 Mash boiled chickpeas and mix with ginger-garlic paste, onions, and green chilies.
  • 🧂 Add spices, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well.
  • 🍞 Add bread crumbs to bind the mixture into a dough-like consistency.
  • 🔥 Shape into small patties and shallow fry until golden brown.
  • 🌿 Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with chutney.
