Ingredients
- 🧄 Ginger-Garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- 🧅 Onion – finely chopped
- 🌿 Green chilies – 2, finely chopped
- 🫘 Chickpeas (chana) – 1 cup, soaked and boiled
- 🍞 Bread crumbs – for binding
- 🍋 Lemon juice – 1 tsp
- 🌱 Coriander leaves – for garnish
- 🧂 Spices (garam masala, chili powder, cumin powder) – to taste
Instructions
- 🫘 Mash boiled chickpeas and mix with ginger-garlic paste, onions, and green chilies.
- 🧂 Add spices, lemon juice, and salt. Mix well.
- 🍞 Add bread crumbs to bind the mixture into a dough-like consistency.
- 🔥 Shape into small patties and shallow fry until golden brown.
- 🌿 Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot with chutney.
