Ingredients
- 🌰 Cashews – 1 cup
- 🧅 Onions – 2 medium, chopped
- 🍅 Tomatoes – 2 medium, pureed
- 🧄 Ginger-Garlic Paste – 1 tbsp
- 🌶️ Green chilies – 2, slit
- 🌿 Cilantro – for garnish
- 🍶 Cream – 1/2 cup (optional)
- 🫙 Garam Masala – 1 tsp
- 🧈 Ghee/Oil – for cooking
Instructions
- 🌰 Soak cashews in warm water for 30 minutes, then grind to a smooth paste.
- 🔥 Heat ghee/oil in a pan, sauté onions until golden brown.
- 🧄 Add ginger-garlic paste, green chilies and cook for a minute. Add tomato puree and cook until oil separates.
- 🧂 Add garam masala and cook for another minute. Add cashew paste and cream (if using) and simmer for 10 minutes.
- 🌿 Garnish with cilantro and serve hot with rice or naan.
