Ingredients

  • 🐖 Pork shoulder – 3 lbs
  • ðŸĨ“ Pork belly – 1 lb
  • ðŸĶī Pork bones – 2 lbs
  • 💧 Water – 12 cups
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 large
  • 🧄 Garlic – 6 cloves
  • 🧂 Salt – to taste
  • ðŸŒķïļ Chili flakes – to taste
  • 🍜 Ramen noodles – to serve
  • ðŸĨš Soft boiled eggs – to serve
  • ðŸŒŋ Green onions – to garnish

Instructions

  • ðŸ”Ĩ Sear pork shoulder and pork belly. Boil pork bones to create a broth.
  • ðŸĨ˜ Combine seared pork, pork bones, onion, garlic, and water in a large pot. Simmer for 3-4 hours.
  • 🔊 Shred the pork. Strain the broth and season with salt and chili flakes.
  • 🍜 Cook ramen noodles according to package directions.
  • ðŸĨĢ Assemble bowls with noodles, broth, carnitas, soft boiled egg, and green onions.
