Ingredients
- ð Pork shoulder â 3 lbs
- ðĨ Pork belly â 1 lb
- ðĶī Pork bones â 2 lbs
- ð§ Water â 12 cups
- ð§ Onion â 1 large
- ð§ Garlic â 6 cloves
- ð§ Salt â to taste
- ðķïļ Chili flakes â to taste
- ð Ramen noodles â to serve
- ðĨ Soft boiled eggs â to serve
- ðŋ Green onions â to garnish
Instructions
- ðĨ Sear pork shoulder and pork belly. Boil pork bones to create a broth.
- ðĨ Combine seared pork, pork bones, onion, garlic, and water in a large pot. Simmer for 3-4 hours.
- ðŠ Shred the pork. Strain the broth and season with salt and chili flakes.
- ð Cook ramen noodles according to package directions.
- ðĨĢ Assemble bowls with noodles, broth, carnitas, soft boiled egg, and green onions.
