Ingredients

  • 🥛 Milk – 500ml
  • 🧈 Butter – 50g
  • 🥚 Eggs – 2 large
  • 🍬 Sugar – 250g
  • 🌾 Flour – 125g
  • 🥃 Dark rum – 2 tbsp
  • 🌿 Vanilla extract – 1 tsp

Instructions

  • 🔥 Melt butter in milk and let cool.
  • 🥚 Whisk eggs and sugar until pale.
  • 🌾 Add flour, then gradually incorporate milk mixture.
  • 🥃 Stir in rum and vanilla. Chill for at least 24 hours.
  • 🌡️ Preheat oven to high heat, bake in canelé molds until dark and caramelized.
