Ingredients
- 🍚 Brown rice – 1 cup
- 💧 Water – 2 cups
- 🧂 Salt – to taste
- 🥄 Olive oil – 1 tsp (optional)
Instructions
- 🍚 Rinse brown rice in a fine-mesh sieve until water runs clear.
- 💧 Add rice and water to a saucepan. Add salt and olive oil (optional).
- 🔥 Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 45 minutes.
- ⏳ Let stand, covered, for 10 minutes after cooking. Fluff with a fork.
