Ingredients
- 🥛 Whole Milk – 2 cups
- 🍦 Heavy Cream – 1 cup
- 🍬 Sugar – 3/4 cup
- 🌼 Sahlab Powder – 2 tbsp (or cornstarch)
- 🌲 Mastic Resin – 1/2 tsp finely crushed
- 🌹 Rose Water – 1 tsp
- 🥜 Pistachios – 1/2 cup crushed for coating
Instructions
- 🥣 Combine milk, cream, and sugar in a pot over medium heat until simmering.
- 🥄 Whisk in the sahlab and mastic, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens.
- 🌹 Remove from heat, stir in rose water, and let it cool completely.
- ❄️ Pour into a container and freeze, beating the mixture every hour to create a stretchy texture.
- 🥜 Once firm, roll into a log, coat heavily with crushed pistachios, and slice.
