Ingredients
- ðĶī Beef bones â 2 lbs
- ð§ Onion â 1 large, quartered
- ðĨ Carrots â 2 medium, chopped
- ðŋ Celery â 2 stalks, chopped
- ð§ Water â 8 cups
- ð Apple cider vinegar â 2 tbsp
- ð§ Salt â to taste
- ðķïļ Pepper â to taste
Instructions
- ðĨ Roast bones at 400°F (200°C) for 20 minutes for deeper flavor.
- ðĨ Place roasted bones, onion, carrots, and celery in a large stockpot.
- ð§ Add water and apple cider vinegar. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for at least 4 hours.
- ðĨ Skim off any foam that rises to the surface during simmering.
- ð§ Season with salt and pepper to taste. Strain broth before serving.
