Ingredients

  • 🫘 Besan (gram flour) – for the dough
  • 🌾 Maida (all-purpose flour) – for the dough
  • 🥥 Grated coconut – for the filling
  • 🌱 Sesame seeds – for the filling
  • 🌶️ Red chili powder – for the filling
  • 🍋 Tamarind pulp – for the filling
  • 🫘 Urad dal – for the filling
  • 🌿 Coriander seeds – for the filling
  • 🧅 Onion – finely chopped for the filling
  • 🍬 Sugar – for the filling
  • 💧 Oil – for deep frying

Instructions

  • 🥣 Prepare the dough with besan, maida and spices.
  • 🔥 Sauté filling ingredients and grind to a coarse paste.
  • 🍪 Roll out the dough, spread the filling, and form into rolls.
  • 🔪 Cut into small pieces to form bhakarwadi.
  • ♨️ Deep fry until golden brown and crispy. Cool completely before storing.
