Ingredients
- π₯ Milk β 1 cup, lukewarm
- πΎ Flour β 4 cups, all-purpose

- π§ Butter β Β½ cup, melted
- π₯ Eggs β 2 large
- π© Yeast β 2 ΒΌ teaspoons, active dry
- π Jam β for filling (strawberry or raspberry)
- β¨ Powdered sugar β for dusting
- π’οΈ Oil β for frying
Instructions
- π© Dissolve yeast in warm milk with a pinch of sugar. Let it sit for 5 minutes until foamy.
- π₯£ In a large bowl, mix flour, sugar, melted butter, eggs, and the yeast mixture. Knead until smooth.
- β³ Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- πͺ Roll out the dough and cut into circles. Let them rest for 15 minutes.
- π₯ Fry in hot oil until golden brown on both sides. Drain on paper towels.
- π Fill with jam using a piping bag and dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm or at room temperature.
