Ingredients
- 🍚 Dosa batter – 2 cups
- 🌱 Benne seeds (sesame seeds) – 2 tbsp
- 🥔 Potatoes – 2 medium, boiled and mashed
- 🧅 Onions – 1 medium, finely chopped
- 🌶️ Green chilies – 1-2, finely chopped
- 🌿 Curry leaves – 1 sprig
- 🫘 Urad dal – 1 tbsp
- 🫚 Ginger – 1 tsp, grated
Instructions
- 🔥 Prepare masala: Sauté onions, green chilies, ginger, and curry leaves.
- 🥔 Add mashed potatoes, spices (turmeric, chili powder), and salt. Mix well and cook for 5 mins.
- 🥣 Add benne seeds to the masala and mix well.
- ♨️ Heat a flat griddle or pan. Spread dosa batter thinly.
- 🥄 Spread benne masala evenly on the dosa and cook until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve hot with chutney and sambar. 🥥
