Benne Garlic Roast

Ingredients
- 🥩 Roast (beef, pork, or lamb) – about 3 lbs
- 🧄 Garlic – 6 cloves, minced
- 🌱 Benne seeds (sesame seeds) – 2 tbsp
- 🧅 Onion – 1 large, chopped
- 🥕 Carrots – 2 medium, chopped
- 🌿 Fresh herbs (rosemary, thyme) – 2 sprigs
Instructions
- 🔥 Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
- 🧂 Rub roast with minced garlic, salt, pepper, and benne seeds.
- 🧅 Place chopped onion and carrots in the bottom of a roasting pan, then place the roast on top.
- ♨️ Roast for approximately 20 minutes per pound, or until desired doneness is reached.
- 🌿 Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving, garnished with fresh herbs.
