Ingredients

  • 🥩 Beef cheeks – 4 pieces
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 large, chopped
  • 🥕 Carrots – 2 medium, chopped
  • 🌿 Celery – 2 stalks, chopped
  • 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
  • 🍷 Red wine – 1 cup
  • 🌱 Beef broth – 4 cups
  • 🌿 Thyme – 2 sprigs
  • 🌿 Rosemary – 1 sprig
  • 🧂 Salt & pepper – to taste
  • 🫘 Olive oil – 2 tbsp

Instructions

  • 🔥 Sear beef cheeks in olive oil until browned on all sides.
  • 🧅 Sauté onions, carrots, and celery until softened.
  • 🧄 Add garlic, thyme, and rosemary; cook for 1 minute.
  • 🍷 Deglaze the pot with red wine, scraping up any browned bits.
  • 🌱 Add beef broth, return beef cheeks to the pot, and simmer for 3 hours or until tender.
  • ✨ Serve hot with your favorite side dish.
