Ingredients

  • 🌿 Betel leaves – fresh and clean
  • 🍬 Gulkand – 2 tbsp
  • 🥥 Grated coconut – 1 tbsp
  • 🍒 Candied cherries – chopped
  • 🌰 Fennel seeds – 1 tsp
  • 🍋 Lime juice – a few drops

Instructions

  • 🌿 Gently wash and pat dry the betel leaves.
  • 🥄 Spread a layer of gulkand on each leaf.
  • 🥥 Sprinkle grated coconut, candied cherries, and fennel seeds over the gulkand.
  • 🍋 Add a few drops of lime juice for flavor.
  • 🍃 Fold the betel leaf neatly and secure with a clove or toothpick (optional). Serve fresh.
