Ingredients

  • 🫘 Dried white peas (ragda) – 1 cup
  • 🌰 Almonds (badam) – 1/2 cup, soaked
  • 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, chopped
  • 🍅 Tomato – 1 medium, chopped
  • 🌶️ Green chilies – 1-2, chopped
  • 🧄 Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
  • 🌿 Coriander leaves – for garnish
  • 🍋 Lemon juice – to taste
  • 🧂 Spices – turmeric, chili powder, cumin powder

Instructions

  • 🫘 Soak white peas overnight and pressure cook until soft.
  • 🌰 Grind soaked almonds into a paste.
  • 🔥 Sauté onions, ginger-garlic paste, and green chilies.
  • 🍅 Add tomatoes and spices; cook until oil separates.
  • 🥘 Add cooked peas, almond paste, and simmer for 15 mins. Garnish and serve with lemon juice.
