Ingredients
- 🫘 Dried white peas (ragda) – 1 cup
- 🌰 Almonds (badam) – 1/2 cup, soaked
- 🧅 Onion – 1 medium, chopped
- 🍅 Tomato – 1 medium, chopped
- 🌶️ Green chilies – 1-2, chopped
- 🧄 Ginger-garlic paste – 1 tsp
- 🌿 Coriander leaves – for garnish
- 🍋 Lemon juice – to taste
- 🧂 Spices – turmeric, chili powder, cumin powder
Instructions
- 🫘 Soak white peas overnight and pressure cook until soft.
- 🌰 Grind soaked almonds into a paste.
- 🔥 Sauté onions, ginger-garlic paste, and green chilies.
- 🍅 Add tomatoes and spices; cook until oil separates.
- 🥘 Add cooked peas, almond paste, and simmer for 15 mins. Garnish and serve with lemon juice.
