Ingredients
- 1 baguette 🥖 (about 12 inches long)
- 4 oz Vietnamese cold cuts (such as cha lua or head cheese)
- 2 oz pate (preferably Vietnamese pate)
- 1/2 cup pickled carrots and daikon radish (do chua)
- 1/4 cup cilantro 🌿 leaves
- 1/4 cup thinly sliced cucumber 🥒
- 1 jalapeno pepper 🌶️, thinly sliced (optional)
- Mayonnaise 🥄
- Soy sauce or Maggi seasoning (optional)
Instructions
- Slice the baguette horizontally, being careful not to cut all the way through. 🔪
- Spread a thin layer of pate on one side of the baguette and mayonnaise on the other. 🥄
- Layer the Vietnamese cold cuts onto the bottom half of the baguette. 🥓
- Add the pickled carrots and daikon radish. 🥕
- Top with cilantro leaves and cucumber slices. 🌿🥒
- If desired, add sliced jalapeno pepper. 🌶️
- Drizzle with soy sauce or Maggi seasoning (optional). 🧂
- Close the sandwich and enjoy! 😋
