Ingredients

Instructions

  • 🥣 Whisk egg yolks and sugar in a bowl until pale and creamy.
  • 🔥 Heat milk and salt in a saucepan until it just begins to simmer.
  • 🥄 Slowly temper the eggs by whisking in hot milk, then cook until thick.
  • ❄️ Strain the mixture, add cream and vanilla, then chill for 4 hours.
  • 🍨 Churn in an ice cream maker until thick and freeze until firm.
