Ingredients

  • 🥔 Potatoes – boiled and mashed
  • 🧅 Onion – finely chopped
  • 🌶️ Green chilies – chopped (optional)
  • 🌿 Coriander leaves – chopped
  • 🫙 Spices – as per taste (cumin, coriander, chili powder)
  • 🫓 Chickpea flour (besan) – for binding
  • 🥄 Yogurt – for topping
  • 🌱 Mint chutney – for topping
  • Tamarind chutney – for topping
  • Sev – for topping

Instructions

  • 🥔 Mix mashed potatoes with onions, chilies, coriander, spices, and chickpea flour.
  • 🟢 Form the mixture into small patties (tikkis).
  • ♨️ Shallow fry or pan-fry the tikkis until golden brown and crispy.
  • 🥣 Arrange tikkis on a plate and top with yogurt, mint chutney, and tamarind chutney.
  • ✨ Garnish with sev and serve immediately.
