Ingredients

  • 🥐 Croissants – 4 pre-baked and split
  • 🧈 Butter – 1/2 cup softened
  • 🍚 Sugar – 1/2 cup granulated
  • 🌰 Almond Flour – 1 cup
  • 🥚 Egg – 1 large
  • 🥜 Sliced Almonds – 1/4 cup for topping
  • 🍦 Vanilla Extract – 1 tsp

Instructions

  • 🥣 Mix butter, sugar, almond flour, egg, and vanilla in a bowl to create a smooth almond cream.
  • 🔪 Slice the croissants in half horizontally and spread a layer of cream inside.
  • 🍯 Close the croissants and spread a thin layer of cream on top, then press on sliced almonds.
  • ⏲️ Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  • ✨ Let them cool for a few minutes and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
