Ingredients
- 🥐 Croissants – 4 pre-baked and split
- 🧈 Butter – 1/2 cup softened
- 🍚 Sugar – 1/2 cup granulated
- 🌰 Almond Flour – 1 cup
- 🥚 Egg – 1 large
- 🥜 Sliced Almonds – 1/4 cup for topping
- 🍦 Vanilla Extract – 1 tsp
Instructions
- 🥣 Mix butter, sugar, almond flour, egg, and vanilla in a bowl to create a smooth almond cream.
- 🔪 Slice the croissants in half horizontally and spread a layer of cream inside.
- 🍯 Close the croissants and spread a thin layer of cream on top, then press on sliced almonds.
- ⏲️ Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- ✨ Let them cool for a few minutes and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
