Almond Chocolate Croissant

Ingredients

  • 🥐 Croissant – pre-made
  • 🍫 Chocolate – dark or milk
  • 🌰 Almonds – slivered
  • 🧈 Butter – softened
  • 🥚 Egg – for egg wash
  • 🥄 Sugar – granulated

Instructions

  • 🔪 Slice the croissant in half horizontally. Spread softened butter and chocolate evenly on both halves.
  • 🌰 Sprinkle slivered almonds on top of the chocolate filling.
  • 🥚 Brush the top of the croissant with egg wash. Sprinkle with sugar.
  • 🔥 Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and the chocolate is melted.
