Ingredients
- 🥔 Potatoes – boiled and mashed
- 🧅 Onion – finely chopped
- 🌶️ Green chilies – finely chopped
- 🌿 Coriander leaves – chopped
- 🫚 Ginger – grated
- 🍋 Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
- 🍞 Breadcrumbs – for coating
- 🧂 Spices – salt, red chili powder, turmeric powder
- 🛢️ Oil – for frying
Instructions
- 🥔 Mix mashed potatoes with onions, green chilies, ginger, coriander, lemon juice, and spices.
- 👐 Shape the mixture into small, round patties.
- 🍞 Coat the patties with breadcrumbs.
- 🔥 Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry the tikkis until golden brown on both sides.
- Serve hot with chutney or sauce. 🍵
