Ingredients
- 🐷 Pork shoulder – 3-4 lbs
- 🧅 Onions – 2, chopped
- 🧄 Garlic – 4 cloves, minced
- 🌿 Herbs (thyme, rosemary) – to taste
- 🥕 Carrots – 2, chopped
- 🍷 Red wine – 1 cup
- 🫙 Olive oil – 2 tbsp
- 🧂 Salt & pepper – to taste
Instructions
- 🔥 Sear pork in olive oil until browned on all sides.
- 🧅 Add onions, garlic, and carrots to the pot and sauté until softened.
- 🍷 Deglaze the pot with red wine, scraping up any browned bits.
- 🌿 Add herbs, salt, and pepper. Cover the pork with liquid (water or broth if needed).
- ⏰ Slow cook in the oven at a low temperature (around 225°F/107°C) for 48 hours, or until the pork is very tender and easily shredded.
